What to Expect?

What should I wear?

Wear clothes :)  We do not have a dress code. We do ask that dress be modest and appropriate for the weather. As for tattoos and piercings, bring them. We promise not to remove them.

Do you have a nursery?

Yes. Nursery is provided during all services for children 3 years of age and under.

Do you have a children’s ministry?

Yes. Children attend the worship service up to the sermon.  The children are then dismissed to children’s church.  The last Sunday of the month we all stay together for worship (We believe it is important for children to see the parents and other adults worship – their beliefs are “caught more than taught.”  Children are ministered to first hour (9:45-10:35) during the school year (we give everyone a break during the summer).

What are your services like?

Our church family is very welcoming (but not overwhelmingly so).  We focus on sharing the Word of God through books of the Bible.  Our music is a blend of contemporary and traditional with an occasional taste of country.

Do visitors have to stand up and say anything?

No, you sure don’t. We will ask you to fill out a welcome card and drop it in the offering plate so we can have a record of your visit. We also have a greeting time during the service, and it is very likely you will receive a firm handshake and a few hugs.

Am I expected to participate in the offering?

No. If God leads you to give, please do so – but we will not pressure you. We will be excited that you have joined us and want you to experience God through the worship service.

Other questions?

If there’s something we missed on this list, just give us a call, or ask someone when you arrive.
