Our Commitment To You
Our Commitment to You:
Your convictions will always be respected when you fellowship in our church. We understand you are created by God and are fully and completely a free moral agent. In no way do we intend to manipulate your thoughts or use techniques to get you to believe as we do. It is not our responsibility that you take our interpretation as to what the Bible teaches. Our intention is to provide as clear an interpretation and understanding of the Scripture as possible. Your mind has its God given capacity to study the Bible, and The Holy Spirit will be faithful to the promise in Scripture to guide you into all truth. We desire for you to learn along with us, how to study the Bible so you can come to your own convictions and understanding. The Holy Spirit will make it clear to your mind and spirit, what He wants you to know and do. We will offer extensive references to Bible texts throughout our studies and preaching, which will allow you to read and study from your own Bible, and study and refer to additional resources.
We will always use the Bible - The Word of God - The Scriptures, as written. We have definite convictions of truth and how a life should be devoted to God, and we will always encourage you to serve Christ as Lord. We believe every Christian should unite and serve in a church that teaches the truth of God from His Word. We believe no church should call on you to use their ‘unique’ Bible. If any Bible is modified or written based upon some divine revelation given to any man, it is not the true Word of God. However, we do believe that God’s family is a large believing family, and that His children are spread among many denominations and churches that should be able to come together to study, pray and serve.
We will follow God's great commission. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (Matthew 28:19). Our first and foremost commitment is to teach as many people as we can, about the eternal truth of salvation that comes only through Jesus Christ before the end of this age. Our purpose is to open THE Bible to everyone’s understanding regardless of religion, race, or gender. Our desire is to be faithful to our calling to preach and teach the truth of God’s Word. We believe the Holy Sprit will guide each person in understanding the Bible, including pastors and teachers of the New Testament church where we serve and fellowship. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. (John 16:13)
We will not pull or push you to be a part of our church. We believe God places within the body, each person as He desires. If God puts the desire in your heart to join us, learning more about the Good News, and spreading it throughout all the world, we will welcome you with loving and open arms. We will consider it a great privilege to teach you, learn from you, serve with you, and continually be on mission for God with you, until Jesus comes again.
